Liverpool host Everton tomorrow at Anfield and will look to bounce back from three consecutive defeats in the Premier League.
The Reds lost to Leicester City at the King Power Stadium last Saturday after back-to-back losses at home to Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester City.
Liverpool also lost at Anfield to Burnley last month, and their 68-game undefeated home run came to an end.
They are currently 16 points behind league leaders Man City and are currently sixth in the Premier League table.
Liverpool are two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea after 24 games and cannot afford to lose any more points in the future.
Winning tomorrow’s Merseyside derby will give them a much-needed boost for the rest of the season, and skipper Jordan Henderson has sent a message to the Reds faithful ahead of the clash:
The fans are what make the Merseyside derbies special, so we will miss you tomorrow, but we will do our best to try and put a smile on your face at home! #YNWA pic.twitter.com/jLhqp439RE

Currently only one place and three points lie between Liverpool and Everton on the table, and the Toffees will be eager for their first win at Anfield since 1999.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side haven’t managed a win against the Reds since 2010, but tomorrow they will have plenty of chances, given Liverpool’s recent form.
Former Liverpool forward Peter Crouch believes Everton have a chance of leaving Anfield with all three points, and a fierce clash is to be expected when both teams take the field.
In other news, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants this Dutchman to replace him when he leaves Anfield.
