The Giants troll the Eagles by playing the ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ theme after the victory
Joe Buck took the opportunity to troll Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers for his toe situation and his COVID-19 vaccine situation at the same time.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been the center of controversy, the subject of headlines and the target of jokes in recent weeks. His controversial COVID-19 vaccine saga and the strange toe injury he is trying to work through has managed to catch everyone’s attention this season.
So it should come as no surprise that both of these elements would be taken up at some point in Green Bay’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Prior to the start of the competition with Chargers, Rodgers apparently received some sort of “painkiller injection” that prevents him from feeling pain (or anything) in the troublesome toe. This information was passed on to viewers during the match between Chargers and Packers.
And of course, Buck was ready to address the current situation.
“So Aaron tells us he’s got that toe immunized against the pain,” Buck remarked.

There’s no way this is the last time people will take a shot at Rodgers’ reluctance to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, so expect some more jokes about the situation, along with comments about his strange toe injury, in the future.
Buck was apparently prepared, ready and seemed ready to go with his remark. Who knows if he had rehearsed it, or if it actually happened outside the cuff and improvised, but it was pretty full of snot, and Buck got a lot of people’s attention with the comment.
