Former Leeds United player Jermain Beckford has delivered a passionate message on Twitter after the Whites suffered a 3-0 loss to Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday.
Spurs were back on the winning track after four games with Son Heung-min scoring his 100th goal for the north London club.
The victory also places them in third place in the league table, while Leeds remains in eleventh place.
Beckford said that despite the loss, what has been refreshing is to see that each player gave their all on the field, and that sometimes you have to appreciate and admire the quality of the opponent.
What I love to watch @LUFC it’s the honesty you get from every player on the field regardless of score, it’s refreshing! More positive results will come, there is no shame in losing to a team like @Espursofficial either. We march on #ACUITY

The Spurs enjoyed just 38% of possession, but made 20 shots during the game.
Harry Kane opened the scoring for the Spurs from the point Ezgjan Alioski fouled Steven Bergwijn.
The England captain became a supplier when Son doubled the lead after sweeping his cross at the near post. It was Son’s 100th goal for the club.
Leeds created some good opportunities, but they were left exposed too often on defense. Toby Alderweireld’s near-post header completed a fantastic victory for the Spurs with Illan Meslier having a nightmare game, one he would love to quickly forget.
Aside from the result, what should disappoint Leeds fans is that Kalvin Phillips has now collected five yellow cards, which means he will not be available for the game against Brighton.
