New Chargers cornerback JC Jackson went ahead and let Davante Adams know he’s not afraid of him in the slightest.
Leave it to new Los Angeles Chargers cornerback JC Jackson to make the rivalry with the Las Vegas Raiders even more interesting. From the moment Jackson signed his contract with the Chargers, he has been all in with the team and talked to swagger.
That was exactly the case with his latest message to the Raiders. Although the team undoubtedly signed the best wideout of the game in Davante Adams, Jackson could not care less. He will be ready to try to shut Adams down when they go into battle.
JC Jackson looks forward to welcoming Davante Adams
Chargers fans love that quote from Jackson, as he knows that just because Las Vegas signed Adams, does not mean they suddenly become a mighty power and walk away with the AFC West title.
The Chargers are ready to dethrone the Chiefs at the top, and the sensational moves – including picking up Jackson and swapping for Khalil Mack – have fans believing the team will be able to get that job done.
For Las Vegas, they drive high after picking up Adams and reuniting him with Derek Carr. The two played together in Fresno State and have hoped to fit together again. Now they have had their will fulfilled.
Jackson will be ready to turn things into a nightmare when the Chargers and Raiders start. Jackson himself is one of the top cornerbacks in the game. He may have his hands full with Adams, but he will be ready for the challenge. When the Chargers and Raiders meet for the first time in 2022, it will be television that must be seen.
