Aston Villa and Brighton and Hove Albion were canceled in a goalless draw last night.
Brighton was arguably the best team and they could have easily won the game. However, Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez put on a world-class display to earn a point for his team.
The 28-year-old Argentine goalkeeper has been in top form since joining the West Midlands club from Arsenal.
He made nine saves against Brighton last night. Villa had a mediocre performance as a team and their fit goalkeeper rescued them.
Aston Villa star Jack Grealish took to Twitter after the game to praise his teammate.

There is no doubt that Martínez has been one of the best signings of the summer. It has been crucial for Villa’s recovery this season.
The Argentine has excelled practically every week and it will be interesting to see if he can guide his team to a respectable finish in the Premier League this season.
Villa is currently eighth in the Premier League table and has an excellent chance of qualifying for the Europa League if he can finish the season strong.
Fans will expect more of the same from the star goalkeeper in the coming weeks and it remains to be seen if he can continue to step up and deliver.
Emi Martínez made nine saves against for Villa vs. Brighton, the most a goalkeeper has achieved in a PL game in the last two seasons keeping a clean sheet.
