It has been a great start to the season for the Glasgow Rangers, but perhaps they could use one more signing to put the icing on the cake.
Rangers right-back and club captain James Tavernier has established himself as an integral part of Steven Gerrard’s team this season so far, providing 11 goals and 9 assists in 22 Scottish Premiership appearances, via Transfer market.
However, should he succumb to injury, the Rangers could feel a bit changed, as they could find themselves short of options on the right side of defense.
Do you want Glasgow Rangers to sign Dennis Gyamfi?
The Light Blues were strongly linked with a move for former Leicester City star Dennis Gyamfi in the summer, but a move never materialized as they put their faith in local right back Nathan Patterson.
However, the academy graduate has struggled for playing time at Ibrox this season, having been limited to just A start of three total appearances in all competitions so far.

His former Leicester manager Ben Petty praised his “fantastic“Young load, saying:
“It’s about building all the time. I think we’ve seen some good performances: Conor Tee has been excellent, Dennis Gyamfi has been a real asset and so has Luke Thomas.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has also been an excellent captain for us, so there are many things to be happy about during the week. The boys have been proud and the Club is proud ”.
Gerrard’s Gers are 19 points clear of their perennial rivals after inflicting a second defeat to Neil Lennon’s Celtic in the Old Firm derby at Ibrox. Collecting the young defender could be a solid solution should Tavernier be injured.
And in other news, the Rangers must get rid of George Edmundson in January …
