Getafe are set to step through Barcelona midfielder Carles Alena and Real Madrid winger Takefusa Kubo when the LaLiga transfer window opens in January.
Alena, 22, has not been able to establish herself as a regular starter with Ronald Koeman and has only played four games for the Blaugrana this season.
Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane allowed the 19-year-old Kubo to join Villarreal on a one-season loan, during which he has made 19 appearances, but the deal is expected to be truncated.
Getafe president Ángel Torres revealed the club’s interest in the couple, as coach José Bordalas seeks to strengthen his squad next month.
“Kubo wants to come,” Torres told the Onda Cero program El Transistor. “Yes, the other reinforcement may be Alena. But we are not going to go crazy ”.
Getafe currently occupies thirteenth place in LaLiga ahead of their meeting with leaders Atlético de Madrid on Wednesday.
55.9% – Since their debut in October 2004, Barcelona have won just 55.9% of their LaLiga matches without Lionel Messi (66 wins 39 losses 22), compared to 73.7% with him in the side (368 victories 83 defeats 48). Nostalgia. pic.twitter.com/xlL4hrh1Uy
