Antoine Griezmann continued his recent scoring form when Barcelona pulled off a comfortable 3-0 victory over Ferencvaros in Group G of the Champions League on Wednesday.
French striker Griezmann scored early on when he scored in three straight games for the first time in a Barça shirt.
Martin Braithwaite and Ousmane Dembélé were also on the scoresheet for Barcelona, which had already qualified for the knockout phase of the competition.
The victory also ensured that Barça won their first five matches of the Champions League group stage for the first time since the 2002-03 campaign and lead Juventus in second place by three points with one match remaining.
Lionel Messi was rested by Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman for the trip to Hungary, but without the influential Argentine international, his team played excellent football.
Barcelona’s first goal came through Griezmann in the 14th minute, and the forward gracefully fell back on a low cross from Jordi Alba.
Koeman’s side increased their lead moments later when Dembélé unlocked Ferencvaros’s defense with a run before his cross was greeted by Braithwaite’s sliding boot to complete a 33-pass move.

The spirited Braithwaite won a penalty just before half an hour after his fall after a slightly inopportune tackle by Abraham Frimpong.
Dembélé took the lead with confidence and sent Ferencvaros goalkeeper Denes Dibusz down the wrong track with a clinical penalty.
Braithwaite shot meekly from a good position before the break before Barcelona began to take it easy in the second half.
Dembélé came to life when he launched himself forward in a good solo career, only to see his shot fly into the side net.
The French striker carried Barca’s main threat for the remainder of the match and twice cleverly saved Dibusz late in the game, in a graceful victory.
