Barnsley and Luton are set to battle with a host of Scottish clubs for international forward Eamonn Brophy, TEAMtalk can reveal.
The Kilmarnock forward is out of contract at the end of the season and is ready to leave Rugby Park.
Barnsley had already shown interest in the 24-year-old, who has been international with Scotland, and now they are ready to offer him a pre-contract in January.
It is also believed that several championship rivals will be looking, including Luton, but he will also have a chance to stay in Scotland.

Brophy He recently reached 100 league appearances with Kilmarnock. In that time, he has scored 29 goals.

Manager Valerien Ismael has told the Barnsley Chronicle that the club hopes to sign Norwich forward Carlton Morris.
Morris is currently on loan at MK Dons, but Barnsley now hopes to step in.
