West Ham is interested in keeping David Moyes at the club beyond this season.
The Hammers coach will be out of contract in the summer and the London club wants to reward him for the work he has done so far according to Sky sports.
David Moyes has helped stabilize the boat at West Ham and has improved performances considerably this season. The Hammers are currently 5th in the Premier League table, just four points behind the league leaders.
He managed to do a stellar job of keeping West Ham in the Premier League when he was hired to replace Slaven Bilic in 2018. However, the London club decided not to give him a contract extension and left after six months at the Market Stall.
It seems the former Manchester United manager has finally managed to win the trust of the owners and they are now planning a long-term future with him.
There have been clear signs of progress at West Ham this season and the signings of David Moyes have also been quite impressive. Tomas Soucek, Jarrod Bowen, Vladimir Coufal and Said Benrahma have made positive contributions to the team so far and the Hammers have the potential to develop further.
Although the style of football has not been attractive under David Moyes, West Ham has managed to get the job done and get results. They are a tough team to beat with David Moyes and fans will be expecting more of the same in the coming months.
Here’s what some of the West Ham fans had to say about David Moyes who could sign a new contract at the club.
Like it or not, there is no doubt that David Moyes deserves a new contract with the club.
He came in, picked this team and made them play like we know they can. Given enough time, you can build something special at West Ham United.

You deserve to be in full control with an adequate budget at your disposal. He has done all of this despite the clowns in charge, that’s an achievement.

I wasn’t a fan of their second date, but I can’t deny that it has worked wonders.

According to Sky, David Moyes is in talks with West Ham for a new contract. We may not be satisfied when he joined at the end of last year, but there is no denying that he has done a fantastic job so far. Well deserved👏👏

So far, well deserved. May it continue for a long time! Maybe they give you better wages than 10k a week or whatever you are doing. However, I wouldn’t give him 4 years as we all know it would be a massive reward if he gets fired.
