With the January transfer window just a few weeks away, there will likely be some back and forth at the best clubs in Europe, regardless of whether the coronavirus pandemic has an effect on finances.

One such club that could be on the new transfer market is Inter Milan, with former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte looking to storm his old club for a couple of players.

The Italian has looted Premier League clubs on a number of occasions during his tenure at the San Siro, clearly showing that he likes what he sees of top-flight English players.

According to Tuttosport, cited by Sun.Both Olivier Giroud and N’Golo Kante are the interesting Serie A giants.

With the French striker struggling to gain playing time before next summer’s European Championships, and Conte having been the coach who brought him to Stamford Bridge, Giroud could be tempted.

Kante still has time left in his contract, so his hiring may be a bit more difficult.

Not to mention, Frank Lampard is unlikely to want to see any of his players move to new pastures, particularly mid-season.
