Thomas Tuchel enjoys the match between Romelu Lukaku and Virgil van Dijk as Chelsea travel to Liverpool on Saturday.
Both sides have had a perfect start to the Premier League season with two wins from two and scored five goals without answer.
Lukaku, who joined Chelsea in a club record deal this month, marked his second debut with a goal in last weekend’s win over Arsenal.
The Belgian national team player will face Liverpool defensive anchor Van Dijk in what promises to be an exciting duel at Anfield.
Blues head coach Tuchel is confident the striker will rise to the occasion when he meets the Dutchman, whose return after an injury he has given the Reds a huge boost since Chelsea’s 1-0 win when the teams met in March.
“I look forward to it; I think a lot of football fans are looking forward to that match,” he said.
“For Romelu, it is a big challenge. He had a very good start, so now we are in details that connect better and better.
“The stress is on tomorrow at Anfield, but we knew we got a great and experienced player. He loves those kinds of fights.
“Liverpool with Van Dijk is different. It is not only his isolated capacity and ability; he also makes everyone around him feel more comfortable and stronger. They have a huge upgrade from March last year. ”
Tuchel also praised opponent Jurgen Klopp, and the former Paris Saint-Germain boss expects a special atmosphere on Merseyside.
“He has my full respect; he is one of the best leaders in the world, ”added the Blues boss.
“He has the ability to make big footprints and influence in any club. We must be careful when he speaks too well of you!
“We are super happy that the fans are back. We need to cope with the energy that Anfield can create.
“The challenge is underway and we’re happy to be in the middle of it.”
