Celtic are believed to be interested in signing Stade de Reims forward Nathanaël Mbuku.
The 18-year-old has had an impressive start to the season with Stade de Reims and his performances have caught the attention of Lille, Parma and Celtic. The youngster can play on both flanks as well as a forward.
According to Footmercato, Reims would demand a fee of around 8 million euros to sell the 18-year-old forward and it will be interesting to see if Celtic can reach a deal with the French team.
Apparently, the Scottish club has taken steps in recent days to find out the conditions of the transfer.
Mbuku is highly rated in France and has a great future ahead of him. A change to Celtic could help him play regularly and realize his true potential.
The Scottish club have an impressive track record in nurturing young talents and this has been demonstrated by the development of Moussa Dembele in the past and the recent appearance of Odsonne Edouard.
Mbuku has made twelve appearances for Stade de Reims this season and already has a goal and an assist to his name.
He has the potential to establish himself as a French international in the future and will have to be careful with his next move.
Mbuku needs to join a club where he will be entrusted with regular first-team football and Celtic could provide that platform for him given his history with young players.
