Calum Chambers could leave Arsenal on loan

According to Goal.com, Arsenal could send Calum Chambers on loan in the January transfer window. The report has stated that William Saliba and Reiss Nelson could also leave the Gunners on a temporary contract for the remainder of the season.

Chambers has been on Arsenal’s books since 2014 and can operate as a central defender or as a right back. Although the 25-year-old has a lot of potential and has done well when called into action, there have been injury problems of late, and there is competition for spots as well.

It would make sense for the English international to find a club where he can play first-team football in the coming weeks and months. With players like Gabriel and David Luiz on the team, it is going to be extremely difficult for Chambers to become a regular in manager Mikel Arteta’s starting lineup.
