A crazy soccer match ended in full swing at the Allianz Arena on Saturday, when a Kinglsey Coman hat-trick saved Bayerns’ blush against RB Leipzig.

The champions were left behind, then forward, then back again and then perhaps leveled off in the game of the season in German soccer so far in 2020/21.

Here are the Bayern players’ ratings from a vibrant, if not always defensively solid, night of fussball.

Manuel Neuer (GK) – 4/10 – Crazy a serious error of judgment coming out of the patented sweeper-goalkeeper style for Christopher Nkunku’s opener, which set the tone for a crazy afternoon.

Benjamin Pavard – (RB) – 6/10 – Possibly the best of Bayern’s four defenders, which is not saying much.

David Alaba – (LB) – 5/10 – Covering as a left back in the absence of Lucas Hernández, the Austrian was not as effective in the last third as he can be.

Jerome Boateng – (CB) – 4/10 – Replaced by Chris Richards at the end, none of Bayern’s starting center-backs made a single inning in the entire game.

Niklas Sule – (CB) – 4/10 He could hardly have made less effort for the Leipzig third if he had tried. A sad enough afternoon for the big man.

Loen Goretzka – (CM) – 5/10 – Bayern’s action hero was quite restrained and too often overlooked in the engine room.

Javi Martínez – (CM) – 5/10 – Retired in the middle of the first half with an apparent groin injury.

Thomas Muller – (AM) – 8/10 – A corset for him Ramdeuter He’s still the best in the business at what he does.

Leroy Sané – (RW) – 5/10 – The former Manchester City star continued his streak of looking disappointing when he started games for Bayern.

Kingsley Coman – (LW) – 9/10 – A hat-trick of assists for Coman the Bavarian, who surpassed almost all other Bayern players.

Robert Lewandowski – (ST) – 6/10 – It created a good space for Muller, but Lewandowski was strangely quiet and only had one shot on goal.

Jamal musiala

Jamal Musiala – (CM) – 8/10 – Got Bayern back into the game with a wicked blow from the edge of the area. England / Germany, pray that he choose your country.

Serge Gnabry – (RW) – 6/10 – Similarly ineffective as Sane, unfortunately

Douglas Costa – (LW) – N / A

Chris Richards – (CB) – N / A
