Boca Juniors had agreed with Millonarios FC and right-back Andrés Felipe Román to be their second reinforcement in their defense.

The 25-year-old needed to complete his doctor with the Argentine side to complete the play; however, that was when it all fell apart. Sports TNT Journalist Matías Bustos Milla, an international from Colombia, failed his medical examinations, which resulted in the Xeneizes cancel the press conference to reveal the player.

As well, TyC Sports it adds to what the medical problem surrounds the defender. Román reportedly failed the exam due to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which is the leading cause of sudden death if it progresses.

Boca Juniors doctors did not endorse it, and we will have to wait to see what happens next. The Argentine journalist adds that the club will do more studies to see if there is a solution.

Roman’s future probably won’t be at Boca Juniors. However, the player at the moment is heartbroken and distraught over what happened as the transfer is in the air.
