Boakye greets Stankovic and company. when the Red Star Belgrade adventure ends

The forward says goodbye to the rojiblancos after three years with the Serbian team

Ghanaian forward Richmond Boakye-Yiadom praised former AC Milan coach and current Red Star Belgrade coach Dejan Stankovic in a heartfelt message to fans as the curtain lowered on his adventure with the club.

The Ghanaian is about to leave the club after three years.

He made more than 100 games for the rojiblancos in all competitions, scoring 60 goals.

“What an amazing trip with one of the best clubs I’ve played for [Red Star Belgrade]”Boakye posted on social media.

“When you leave an amazing family like this, you cannot remain silent, but rather show love and appreciation for all that my life did in [Belgrade] special.

“A big thank you to Miodrag Bosovic who asked me for an amazing coach and two coaches who helped me get more savage in scoring: Vladan Milojevic – he was really an amazing [person]. I can tell a full story about him. I greet you Vladan Milojevic.

And to end with one of the most prolific footballers in the history of football, Dejan Stankovic, a warrior, a coach who empowers both older and younger players to get to the level they are supposed to reach. I greet you Dejan Stankovic.

This season, Boakye has scored twice in 13 appearances for Belgrade in all competitions. He joined the Serbian giants on the Italian side Latina in 2017, initially on loan.
