Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are being linked as possible transfer suitors for Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin before the summer.
The future of the Spanish international at Arsenal seems uncertain CBS Sports claims he’s willing to prove himself outside the Emirates Stadium.
Bellerin hasn’t looked his best for the Gunners of late, and the report suggests it’s unclear what the club’s long-term plans are for the player.
Arsenal fans took aim at Bellerin after the loss to Manchester City at the weekend, and it could be that they saw him as someone North Londoners would be willing to let go of for the right price.
Bellerin had previously been a fan favorite at Arsenal but has not developed as many would have hoped and they have the promising youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles as an option on the right back.
PSG and Barca may feel the 25-year-old is worth betting on, who could do better with superior players at his side and more freedom to use his pace and attacking qualities.
Bellerin was at Barcelona when he was young and may be tempted to make a Cesc Fabregas and return to the Camp Nou in his peak years, and it could be a good fit for his style of play.
Meanwhile, PSG tend to dominate the majority of Ligue 1 matches, so Bellerin could have a bigger impact in that type of setup and in a less competitive league.
