Arsenal have started talks with center back Rob Holding about a new long-term contract at the club, according to a report.
Football Insider states that the Gunners want to reward a player who has proven himself amid the Gunners’ current crisis.

Holding, who scored an own goal against Everton on Saturday, made his seventh start in eight league games. In fact, only newcomer Gabriel Magalhaes has started more league games than he has this season.

Holding made 23 starts last season, a collection that only featured six starts. As such, it has already broken that record and it seems likely that it will continue its influence.
