Talented players will often be linked to large transfers as soon as they enter senior football, but sometimes it is a good idea to let them develop for a few years before making the move.

Turkish midfielder Berkay Ozca was first linked to a move by Arsenal more than three years ago when he burst onto the scene in Stuttgart, although his career began to stagnate a bit and he is now at Turkish Basaksehir after a brief stint in Hamburg

He is impressed by his Champions League campaign this season and played in their recent win over Man United, which has led to a report from objective which has indicated that Arsenal are interested enough to rekindle that initial interest.

He is a versatile midfielder who generally plays in a deeper role, but can also play behind a striker or on the left side, where he can cut in on his favorite right foot.

He’s also impressed enough in recent years to make his way into Turkey’s senior setup, so it’s clear that the 22-year-old has a bright future in the game.

He could be seen as a cheap option for The Gunners, though it’s hard to know if he has the quality to get in and upgrade the team, or if he would just be another piece of rotation for Mikel Arteta if he moves.
