Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi, currently on loan at Hertha Berlin, today scored his second goal of the season for the Bundesliga team.
The Frenchman showed promise during his time at Emirates, but clearly he was not to the liking of coach Mikel Arteta.
With Thomas Partey being drafted by Atletico Madrid, and both Mohamed Elneny and Granit Xhaka ahead of him in the pecking order, walking away from the Gunners made sense to all parties.
Guendouzi is now showing Arsenal what they are missing, scoring his second of the season for Hertha. That’s more than he scored in one campaign during his time in North London, and this was a great finale too.
After the ball landed at his feet in the penalty area, Guendouzi cleverly folded the ball past the extended goalkeeper into the back of the net.

How could Arsenal have made such contributions from midfield this season!
