The Europa League has given Arsenal a welcome escape from the Premier League so far this season, so tonight’s game against Rapid Vienna is a good chance for Mikel Arteta to get his team back on track.
They have produced some poor performances and some even worse results in recent weeks, so the pressure is starting to mount, so you could understand if Arteta decided to play some of his great players in hopes that he can give them a boost from trust.
The current lineup features a lot of changes since Sunday and it’s not a huge surprise, but some of these players must believe that they can make their way to the Premier League side if they play well tonight:
? Tonight’s lineup is ready!
?? Alex Runarsson in goal
?? Pablo Mari starts at the back!
??????? Eddie Nketiah leads the line

David Luiz is on the list with a head injury that should raise even more questions about the decision to let him play against the Wolves, while Pablo Mari has the opportunity to show what he could bring to the team.
Nicolas Pepe may continue his quest for redemption after the red card incident against Wolves, while it could also be a chance for Lacazette to score a much-needed goal or two.

Arsenal have a six-point lead with just two games remaining, so they’re pretty much into the next round, so it seems fans were hoping to see some of the younger players get a shot:
ESR and Balogun deserve to start

Azeez Balogun and ESR?

Can’t even give Balogun a chance in a pointless Europa League match and want him to sign a date?
– The Arsenal (@ ayears3nal) December 3, 2020
Give Balogun at least 25 minutes please.

There is no point in continuing to play useless lacazete and nketiah instead of the balogun goal machine and then cry lack of goals! Arteta must go!

WHAT DOES BALOGUN NEED TO DO TO GET STARTED? https://t.co/DrtrJZdraV

Tierney showed up for 15 minutes for no reason. Amazing how Balogun hasn’t started. Nketiah has had too many chances https://t.co/DmwULRcfZ3
