Arsenal are believed to be interested in signing Spanish international Isco when the transfer market reopens next month.
The 28-year-old playmaker has started just three league games for Real Madrid this season and needs to leave the club to be able to play regularly for the first team.
According to Meter, the London club are interested in signing him for the rest of the season on loan, but will face stiff competition from Sevilla.
Apparently, the midfielder is interested in a reunion with his former national team coach Julen Lopetegui and, therefore, Seville is your favorite destination.
It will be interesting to see if Arsenal can convince the 38-game international to reject a move to the Spanish club and move on to the Premier League.
The Gunners need to add more creativity to their midfield and Isco could prove to be a quality addition for them. Arsenal have scored just 16 goals in 16 league games so far this season.
The likes of Lacazette and Aubameyang have struggled to score goals this season due to lack of serve and Isco would certainly help in that regard. Both players have combined to score a total of eight league goals.
Arsenal have also linked up with players like Christian Eriksen and Houssem Aouar in recent months. It will be interesting to see who they end up signing in January.
The Gunners are off to a very poor start in the Premier League this season and need to bring in a quality signing in January to transform their fortunes during the second half of the season.
