Sam Allardyce is reportedly considering meeting up with Mamadou Sakho to help West Brom in their battle against relegation.
Allardyce recently replaced Slaven Bilic on the Hawthorns. Your task is to get the Baggies out of the relegation zone.
You will likely need to bring reinforcements in January to help: despite admitting it can be a tough transfer window.
Defense will be a key area that you can seek to strengthen; Albion has conceded more goals than anyone in the Premier League so far.
With that in mind Athletic They claim Allardyce has added Crystal Palace defender Sakho to his transfer wish list.
Allardyce was in charge at Selhurst Park when Palace signed Sakho from Liverpool, and he could seek a deal for the center-back again.
However, it is noted that Palace would require a payment to give West brom on loan. They would also want the Baggies to pay their six-figure weekly salary.
The 30-year-old, from his perspective, may be open to a move to find more playing time. He has played just four times in the Premier League this season, and he has not appeared since October.
A loan spell, then, can give you a chance to resurrect your career. Meeting with a former coach may be the ideal move for the Frenchman.
Another player watches Allardyce’s meeting
Sakho is not the only player to have worked with Allardyce before having been linked to West Brom since his appointment.
Earlier this week, former Everton forward Oumar Niasse asked his former manager to come get me.
Niasse said: “Of course West Brom could be a good opportunity for me, but my agent will try to do what he has to do.
“If Big Sam is interested, I’d be ready to get in my car and drive to Birmingham!”
