Arizona Cardinals wide receiver AJ Green brings his Instagram account back to life to congratulate the Cincinnati Bengals on coming to the Super Bowl.
AJ Green does not always use Instagram, but when he does, the Arizona Cardinals wide receiver reactivates it to congratulate the Cincinnati Bengals on winning the AFC.
Green spent most of his illustrious NFL career at the University of Georgia with the Bengals. While achieving a cross-border hall-of-fame career in the Bengals stripes, playoff success escaped him. When the injuries caught up with him, the perennial Pro Bowler found a new place to work in the Valley of the Sun. Although the Cardinals have a very promising future, the Bengals were his first NFL team.
It’s quite clear who Green will mess with in Super Bowl 56 in Los Angeles in two weeks.
AJ Green awakens his Instagram again to congratulate the Cincinnati Bengals
Cincinnati has had an amazing history when it comes to star reception talent. Green developed an incredible relationship with his classmate Andy Dalton upon joining the league in 2011. Together, this was one of the better quarterback / wide receiver tandems in the NFL for half a decade. They reached the AFC playoffs every five years from 2011 to 2015, but did not win a match.
While it must be bittersweet to see Cincinnati have so much success without him, Green should know that he inspired wide receivers like Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd to go out there and be amazing. Fate wanted his second team in the Georgia Bulldogs to also win his first national title in his lifetime earlier in January. Green still plays, but he’s not the player he once was.
This is an AFC Championship that all members of the Bengals family can enjoy.
