Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers made an impressive, long-range throw during practice on Thursday.
Out of all the teams to be followed in the NFL, it is perhaps the one that carries the most intrigue throughout the 2021 season, the Green Bay Packers. That’s because it may be the last year quarterback Aaron Rodgers plays in a Packers uniform. If so, the Cheeseheads are going to miss throws like the one he did in practice on Thursday.
Packer’s official Twitter account posted a video of Rodgers trying to hit a long-distance net. Of course, the reigning NFL MVP removed a beautiful throw and the football landed on the goal.
Packers fans will love Aaron Rodgers’ unreal throw in practice Thursday
Packers fans will cherish throws like this, especially if this is the “last dance” for Rodgers in Green Bay.
The night of the first round of this year’s NFL Draft, reports indicated that Rodgers no longer wanted to play for Green Bay. When the team did not want to swap him, Rodgers kept out of organized team activities and left the world, waiting to see if he would sign up for training camp. Rodgers showed up for training camp after the team agreed on a reconstructed contract, promising to swap quarterbacks elsewhere if he does not feel like playing in Green Bay after 2021.
Rodgers comes from a 2020 season where he threw 4299 yards, 48 touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 70.7 percent of his passes. Those numbers helped Rodgers get his third NFL MVP award.
Packers fans can’t wait to see Rodgers make ridiculous throws in the team’s Week 1 competition against the New Orleans Saints. Until then, you can enjoy the practice videos!
